Les Orchidophiles de Montréal provides its members with a rich collection of specialized books and magazines about orchids.
They can be consulted on site during monthly meetings or borrowed for a two months period.

The Orchidophiles de Montréal library includes more than 600 books. We also subscribe to three specialized magazines.

The collection offers a wide selection, including books for beginners, but mainly very specialized books on genera, species and geographical distribution of orchids.

The Society subscribes to three periodicals including Orchids Magazine, Orchid Digest and The Orchid Review. You can consult the current year's issues on site. Issues from the previous four years can aloso be borrowed from the library.

How to borrow or consult the documents

To borrow or consult the documents, you must be a member in good standing of the Society.

The library is open during meeting evenings, from 6:45 p.m. Its activities are suspended during the speaker presentations and resume at the break.

Librarians are on hand to help.

You can borrow 3 books per member number, for a two months period.

All books must be returned at the last meeting of the season, in May, in order to do the annual inventory.
